Oct 31, 2015: Michael and I visited the “Devil’s Tower National Monument.” Black Hills (Mount Rushmore), South Dakota to Devil’s Tower NM, Wyoming is about 140 miles away, 3 hours driving. Not too far!! Michael mentioned that he wanted to visit but I did not know the “Devil’s Tower” at all!!I can learn new things

Oct.30/31.2015: The “Crazy Horse Memorial” – Black Hills, South Dakota – a colossal carving of a Lakota leader, as conceived by Chief Henry Standing Bear and as designed and expanded by Korczak Ziolkowski, is the “World’s Largest Mountain Carving” [still under construction]!! When completed it will be 641 feet long and about 563 feet high!

Oct.30 & 31, 2015: I was at Mount Rushmore National Monument with my husband. I was very excited to visit there!! I have visited many National Parks which have a natural landscape, but here is an amazing monument built by human hands!!! I was very impressed!!

Oct 29. 2015, Michael and I went to BADLANDS NP in South Dakota. (Post is pretty behind…sorry!) One of our best friends, Tonya Lozier recommended this NP!!! There are amazing landscapes and views. AWESOME!!! Thank you for your recommendation, Tonya:)
