Crazy Horse Memorial – Black Hills, South Dakota

Oct.30/31.2015: The “Crazy Horse Memorial” – Black Hills, South Dakota – a colossal carving of a Lakota leader, as conceived by Chief Henry Standing Bear and as designed and expanded by Korczak Ziolkowski, is the “World’s Largest Mountain Carving” [still under construction]!! When completed it will be 641 feet long and about 563 feet high! The foundation is to protect and preserve the culture, tradition, and living heritage of the North American Indians.
