Stoke-on-Trent, England – a small town nicknamed ”The Potteries”. Bone China pottery started here in the 17th century and is still a very important part of this town’s history and economy.
Many kinds of “high-end” ceramic companies are located here!! (Wedgwood, Spode, Royal Doulton, Minton…etc), especially, my favorite ceramic company, Portmeirion !!! ๐๐๐
The town has museums, factory tours, pottery classes (I tried a ceramic potter’s wheel and some clay pot design). For me, this town is a lot of fun!!! Lots of amazing art to see and experience ๐
