I think this area still has some influence from Russia (The Soviet Union) and Turkey (the Ottoman empire).
We decided to stay at a hotel. To be honest, not much to see in the capital… Michael and I believe the countryside has more sightseeing areas. Except for the business district, there is not much to see in the city. Also, the hotel clerk said “This area is not safe to park your car on the street” ๐ต๐ต๐ต๐ต๐ตWell, this made us very nervous ๐
But, the people we ran into were very kind and honest. We saw many kids begging for food or money…๐ญ Very sad… We really hope the world will find peace and prosperity โฎ๏ธ
